VINTAGE RETRO EAMES ERA ROCKET JET PLANE 1960 AEROPLANE TABLE LAMP BEACH WOOD

This is an original Circa 1960’S retro table lamp

This lamp is very very rare to find, the last one i have seen sell was from Christie’s in UK for POUNDS$1063 plus 25% commission on top of the sold price and i have added a photo of the lamp being sold in 2013. AUD$2600++++

I think its a reasonable price or make me an offer and I’ll think about it. 

I cant tell you how good this lamp is in person, its just amazing not even being turned on.

It sits at an angle so it looks like it flying. 

The lamp is large at 

SIZE: 50cms wide from wing tip to wing tip and 29cms high, 43cms long.

Condition:

The 2x wings have holes in them from the heat of the globes (from the years of being turned on) so i have turned them upside down and i think they look better. They are the original shades (wings)

There has been a professional repair on the timber piece missing where the wing sits in (once the wing is in place you don’t see it, the shade/wings cover it up). It has the original cord and the switch works fine, it is missing a brass nose cone. (Could be easier to source).

This is a very reluctant sale as it looks amazing with my vintage robots….
